Jessica has had a diverse career in government and advisory roles.
She has held roles in the Office of the Premier of Victoria, was Director Infrastructure and Development at Mount Alexander Shire, a lecturer at Melbourne University and Chief of Staff to then Minister for Transport Infrastructure, Public Transport and Major Projects, Jacinta Allan. She is also a former Councillor at Mount Alexander Shire.
The Healthy Communities and Environments Directorate is focused on ensuring our community is healthy and well, safe and secure, able to participate, connected to culture and community, and liveable and environmentally sustainable.
The directorate is responsible for:
- Maternal and child health
- Immunisation
- Home support
- Early learning centres
- Environmental health
- Emergency management
- Parking
- Animal management
- Building services
- Provision of recreation facilities such as swimming pools and sports grounds
- Community capacity building initiatives
- Social inclusion initiatives
