As this kitchen is shared with all spaces in the facility, it is not generally available to be hired for exclusive use.

• Thornton Hall: 12m x 13m with small stage, plus multimedia, PA, projector, screen etc
  • Low Stage: 4 m wide by 2 m deep vinyl surface
• Leggo room: 12m x 12m
• Wi-Fi: in both halls
• Seating: both halls seat 80 people comfortably 
• Floors: carpet tiles throughout the foyer and two halls
• Heating/cooling: both halls are air-conditioned
• Hire fee: $10/$20 per hall per hour depending on the nature of the booking

• Seating: 20 people comfortably
• Floor: carpet tiles throughout foyer and this meeting room
• Heating/cooling: air-conditioned
• Hire fee: $10/$20 per room per hour depending on the nature of the Hirer’s booking

• Size: Approximately 3 m x 13 m
• Partially set up as a children’s playground
• Surfaces: mixture of artificial grass, chip bark, a large covered veranda
• No Hire fee applies to this area, it is accessible to all Hirers at all times

• General bond: $350 for Casual Hirers (not applicable at this time - casual hire not available)
• All Hirers must agree to the LGCC bylaws before their room hire application can be accepted
• Bond penalties may be applicable for bylaw breaches
• All Hirers must have public liability insurance. Under certain conditions the City of Greater Bendigo’s Community Public Liability Insurance policy can provide coverage at no cost for up to $20,000,000 to Hirers who do not hold a public liability insurance policy. The Committee of Management can provide further details on this insurance to Hirers

• Bookings are available between 7:00 AM and 12:00 midnight daily
• Casual booking requests are currently not able to be accommodated
• Regular booking requests (that is hiring the facility at least 6 times per year) can be considered
• No smoking or vaping is permitted within the boundary of the LGCC
• No alcohol is permitted within the boundary of the LGCC
