Strathdale Park Playspace is located near the corner of McIvor Highway and Crook Street. The fenced playspace is partially shaded by trees and offers a wide variety of play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities. A combination of natural, built and standard play equipment provides spinning, swinging, rocking, climbing, sliding and water play.
It has good parking and is also accessible by foot or bicycle from Condon Street via Kennington Reservoir along the Grassy Flat Creek Trail. The playspace is complemented by nearby BBQs, shelters, public toilets, drinking fountain, walking paths and a lake.
A continuous accessible path is provided to the playspace from street parking on Crook Street or the Crook Street car park. Within the playspace, concrete and rubber paths connect to a number of accessible play activities.
